Tuesday's Tallies

Hello everyone,
How is everyone today? I have been busy this week, but as always, I have made time for my projects. My Grandala blanket is coming along nicely. I have finished all the solid rimmed discs and now have only got to finish the multi-colored ones and then I will be finished with this project. I am really loving this blanket again. I have 100 squares left to do, but that really isn't bad. I have made 188 so far. I am going to start to sew them together now with every 8 multi-colored discs I complete. I have a pattern for the colors, it isn't random. Every solid is followed by a multi. Like this...

This is what I did this week...
Here is what I have for this blanket so far...

The folded up piece is what has been sewn together already. If you just landed here, this is all a part of the One-a-Day group over at Ravelry. It is hosted by Gingerbreadgirl. She does the Tuesday's Tallies and links all the blogs participating. If you want to see everyone's awesome work go visit her blog.
I also worked on my husband's scarf, I am upset that no matter what I do you can't see the cable stitch. I am going to try to take pictures of it outside next time to see if it shows up...

I put in a little time on my Happy Ripple too, it is part of a ripple along hosted by Little Tin Bird and Attic24. I probably work on this the most. It is very addictive...

Lastly, I spent an evening working on the Christmas Blanket. It is for someone I love who doesn't know I am making it. The person may read my blog, so I call it the Christmas Blanket. I have it's real title on my project page on Ravelry. The person in question is not a yarn head like I am, so I think it is safe on Ravelry. I want this blanket to be perfect, so I spend loads of time trying to decide which patterns I am going with next. I do know what I am doing next and am going to devote some serious time to it this week. It doesn't look too much different than the last time I posted about it, but here it is...

This blanket is massive also. It is for a queen size bed, like the Grandala. My Happy Ripple is huge too, but it is for our sofa. I think all three of us will fit under it. Lol. I am also working on a little girl's birthday present and will post about that one in a day or two. Thanks for reading my blog and I will talk to you all soon.
