It's Monday!

Hello,
A few weeks ago Jill, over at Stocki, started talking about making one Big Blanket. Everyone can send in squares and then when it is all over, Jill will sew all the blocks together and choose one lucky participant to be the winner. The winner gets to keep the the blanket. There are a few rules so that the squares will fit and so that anyone with sensitivities to certain yarns can join in on the fun. For all the rules and how to enter go see Stocki's blog.  I am excited about doing this and here are two squares that I have made so far...
I don't know what I am going to do with the little one yet. I may build up another square around it and send it in too. I love the little nine square. I just thought it was cute. The one on the bottom left has four dc in each group instead of three. I thought it was kind of neat. I didn't follow the patterns at all but I got the idea's from Jan Eaton's book "200 Crochet Blocks for Blankets, Throws, and Afghans. I really love the book. It has a lot of ideas for some neat blankets.
This button will take you over to check out the competition.

I also made Autumn a scarf yesterday. I still have remnants of yarn left over from the Happy Ripple, which was a scrap project to begin with. I made a granny square scarf with colors that will match her jacket.

It was fast and easy and I like the way it turned out. She does too. The unhappy look is because it is Monday. Lol. I will see everyone tomorrow for Tuesday's Tallies.
