A New Bag and A Lemon Cake

Hello,
When I woke up this morning I was feeling pretty crummy. I have gotten a terrible chest cold and didn't feel like doing anything other than lounging on the sofa and reading or crocheting. Then I checked my blog list and saw that Lucy 'In The Sky' had posted. She had a photo of  lemon drizzle cake on her site. I love lemon cake of any kind. Since I was feeling crummy I thought lemon crumb cake would do the trick for me. This is what I made.
I know it looks a little funny, however, it is lemon cake with a crunchy crumb crust baked into the top and then sliced in half and filled with a cream cheese whipped cream mixture. Really, you can't go wrong. I had some before dinner. He he.
I have become a moderator for the Everything CAL group on Ravelry, and this week I started the first CAL that I have run all by myself. I finished my project yesterday.
I rewrote some of the pattern, but the basic idea came from this lovely blog. Nilla makes really nice things and everyone in our group chose this bag as our project. I love it. I am going to line it so I can use it tomorrow.
That was my Sunday. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I will see everyone for Tuesday's Tallies.
