Hello,
I took a little blog break this last week. I wasn't feeling well and I didn't even crochet for 3-4 days. That is really unusual for me. I don't think I have ever gone that long since I started to crochet a few years ago. He he. I picked my hook back up on Thursday and finished up one of the CALs I have been working on.
The colors are much prettier in better light, but I love this little blanket. I am going to give it to my pregnant friend today when I get to work. My husband likes this one too. I made this with the Citizens of Stitch Nation group over on Ravelry. The pattern is from Attic24. I ran out of a couple of the colors the pattern calls for, so made a few little changes. The yarn is hard to get here and I didn't want to wait two more weeks for more to be delivered. All the details are on Ravelry.
I had set myself a goal of finishing my Grandala blanket by tomorrow, but I had no energy last week and didn't work on it. I need to put a border on it and then I will post photos. I can't wait to put it on my bed. I still have a bad cough and lingering cold, but my energy level has mostly returned. Three of us at work have had this stuff and we all had to work through it. I didn't mind working, I love the job and it kept me moving. I didn't feel really bad, just couldn't breathe very well. When I would get home, I would get on the couch with a book and that was about all I could manage. Absolutely no energy.
I am going to work on the Grandala today and I will post my Tuesday's Tallies tomorrow with my long awaited new project. I ordered 17 balls of Stylecraft back in December and wasn't sure what I was going to do with it. I have chosen a project, and now that the holidays are over and the Grandala is just about done, I get to start a new project. I won't actually start it until I finish the Grandala, but I will post the details tomorrow. It will be my new One-A-Day project. I am excited about it.
I will talk to everyone tomorrow. Oh, I got another award. I will share those details tomorrow too. :)
