Grandala Love

Hello,
It is Tuesday again. Time for Tallies. Lol. I had to put my Stylin Ripple away for a couple of days. I have frogged so many rows because I don't like the color selection once I have gotten it stitched up. Instead of ripping a bunch more out, I thought I had better take a little bitty break from it. I love the blanket so far and don't want to end up hating it. Hopefully I will be able to show some nice progress next week on that one.
I had some yarn left over from my Grandala Blanket, that I made with the One-a-day group, and thought I would make a pillow  to go with the blanket. The blanket is under repair right now, the washing machine is not it's friend. I have only 3 more holes to fix and I thought making the pillow would keep me motivated.
And the other side,

I love this pillow. I am a total dork. I just looked at my couch and realized that I made every pillow in the room. For some goofy reason this makes me really happy. I would have taken a photo, but it takes ages to upload the photos to my computer and it is too dark in here right now anyway.
I am also working on  a mystery project. I am in the Everything CAL group on Ravelry and our current Mystery CAL started last Wednesday. I would love to show it to you, but I am the moderator and have worked ahead on the project to make sure it is easy to follow. Lucky me, I have the whole pattern, he he.  I can show you the yarn I am using though.
This yarn is leftover from the first pair of Twin's Jackets I made in September when I first started blogging. It is Caron Simply Soft.
I had this post all written up and posted. Something happened and half of the post didn't come through. For half an hour I have been trying to find where it went to. I am now giving up. Aargh.
I will talk to everyone soon. Happy Spring.

  3. I am hoping I am going to have enough yarn for the mystery cal. I have churned through nearly half the ball already. Fingers crossed or it will just get strangely colourful. The cushion looks nice.

  8. Doesn't it just drive you crazy when Blogger does weird things? Your pillow is beautiful! I think it was smart to put the ripple aside if it was causing grief. Better to take a break from it rather than start to dislike it. Have a wonderful day.
