Another Tuesday Tally

Hello,
Here we are again on Tuesday. I love seeing everyone's progress on the One-a-Day group over on Ravelry. I have slowed down just a bit. I am getting ready to go back to work after almost 4 months off. I have had to go see my surgeon and have my knee x-rayed, and finally I am on the mend. It has been a long summer and I did get to indulge in a lot of hooky time. I am only going back to work part-time for a while. So when I get back into the routine I should have more crochet time again. You know the important things in life, crochet, knitting, sewing...lol. Work will be good though. Won't feel like such a burden on my sweet husband. Here is my progress photo...
It is getting harder to fit the blanket into a photo. I have 5 rows of 16 squares sewn together. I was making the squares in the order that they go into the blanket, then decided to change it up so I can make sure I have enough of the yarn in each color. So I made all the circles of teal. I am going to tackle purple next. I have a pattern that the circles follow, it is hard to see yet, but I have it mapped out in my trusty project book.
On another note, my little one lost her first tooth, she is so excited. The thing was wiggly for almost 2 weeks.
A little hard to see, it is a bottom tooth.
I am almost done with my husband's blanket and have a new one in mind for someone in my family. I am actually trying to design and write the pattern before I start this one. I have the yarn already and will share that and the photo of my husband's (hopefully) finished blanket in the next day or two. Thanks for all the positive feedback on The Russian dolls I made. I apologize for the quality of the pattern. I have never written one before. Talk to everyone soon. Thanks for stopping by.

Just wanted to add that the toothfairy did indeed stop at our house. Thanks to everyone for all the comments.

  4. You will have to start standing on a chair to take a pic of your blanket soon! Great progress! My oldest had a wobbly tooth for a while and then play fighting with his younger brother one day heads made contact and out came his tooth. We always enjoy to tell people that his younger brother head butted his tooth out!
