Stash Bag

Hello,
We have been having the nicest weather all week. The last few days have been in the eighties, it is normal for us to still have some snow at this time of year. My Mom was here for a visit and since we had such lovely weather we got to go to the zoo, the park and a few walks. She was only here for 4 days, but it was a fun visit.
Right now I am working on my Stylin Ripple, a Mystery CAL, the Multi-stitch blanket and a grandala pillow to go with my Grandala blanket. If that wasn't enough I was in a Stash Bag CAL with the Everything CAL group on Ravelry. I couldn't put it down finished it this morning. Here it is.
I loved making this bag. It was fast and easy and I think it looks cool. It is really big, I increased the size a bit and mine is 15" or 16" across. I didn't mean for it to be so large, but now it can hold all the yarn for a substantial project. Here it is in its new home.
Looks right at home in Kashi's Corner. It is holding all my DK yarn that isn't going in my Stylin Ripple.
I hope you all enjoy the rest of the weekend. And Happy Mother's Day to you in the UK.

  1. Kashi, how lovely that your Mom also bought the sunshine with her. You sound really busy on the crochet front. Your stash bag looks brilliant, that is just what 'Lucy's Corner' needs as currently it is a complete mess! :) xxx

  3. That is a good idea. I have many bags with projects/craft stuff in them - they live down the side of the sofa in the kitchen. None are quite as nice as yours though.

  8. The perfect size I think, you could get a whole blanket in there. I love how the neutral colour makes it easy to focus in on the yarn!

  9. You finished so quickly! Mine is almost done and will probably be half the size of yours! LOL I think the cotton I used may be a bit thinner. LOVE how you can stuff so much yarn in there and the colour is really nice too. A nice addition to the loungeroom I think!
